Photo Diary: Seattle and Alaska

I find that writing a travel guide about America/Canada in general is pretty difficult. It just feels like everyone already knows what to do and where to go there, you know? We managed to catch the last of the Alaskan cruises this year (one of my Dad's ultimate life goals!) and it was amazing! Who needs Switzerland with fjords like these?

Seattle

I love Seattle! It's so hip, cool and ultimately, one of the chillest places I've ever visited. The neon lights of the Pike Place Market now have a special place in my heart. Except that I didn't buy anything. The flowers are cheap and beautiful, and I think I would have spent my money on them had I lived in Seattle!

Alaska

One would expect snowfall, but Alaska was only too happy to greet us with rain! The cold was bitter but the scenery was too beautiful not to enjoy.
