2015 Book Recap + New Books!

I just thought I'd do this little recap/what's coming up post just before 2015 ends. It's been a crazy, wonderful year for me, writing wise. So far there isn't an end in sight, and I am seriously hoping that this is a good thing. Some days I wonder why the heck I'm going through all this--opening myself up to the world through my words, why I talk about love as if I was a sage expert in it. But I look at these books and feel just a tiny bit proud that I'm doing it at all.

More after the jump!

The first four (!) books on the top row are novels and novellas that are already out in the wild. Sigh No More is a part of the For Love Bundle of #JustWritePH and the Lady in Pink is part of the Fateful Turns bundle for #StrangeLit. Both are scheduled for re-writes and re-releases next year. The Lady in Pink will be part of a whole series featuring the Grey Family.

The four books on the bottom row are 2016's releases so far! Driving Home and Up All Night are short stories that are part of the #TalesfromTheMetro and #WriteBreakupSongsAbout challenges. Both short stories were inspired by songs from local artist Ang Bandang Shirley and One Direction.

We Go Together is the rewrite and re-release of Sigh No More. It's a longer, fully edited version of the story that features the same characters, but hopefully has a little more meat to the story now. I'm hoping to release this on the second week of January. As we speak, ARC print copies are coming out for my family.

I just realized today that I still have one book in my 'arsenal' that is up for release soon. On A Pale Horse is a new crime story that I wrote when I joined the #HeistClub crime fiction workshop. This is the first book in a new series, set in Manila.

Looks like 2016's already shaping up to be a busy year! I can't wait. :)
